CWW is here to ensure continuity of care for current clients and help new clients easily access support. Our telehealth platform is seamlessly integrated into our practice making access to therapy services easy and stress-free.

What technology do I have to have to participate in a telehealth session?

You can use your home computer, as long as it has a camera. If using your computer, there is nothing to download. The system is completely cloud-based and accessible from the link that is shared in your reminder email.

You may also use your smart phone by downloading Simple Practice™ Telehealth App through your smartphone. Minimal connection requirements will be sent in your telehealth information paper when your appointment is scheduled.

How do I attend a telehealth session from home?

You can attend the session from anywhere you have good internet reception. Ideally, you will want to be in a quiet, private space without distraction.

Does my insurance cover telehealth therapy sessions?

Most health insurance benefits cover telehealth sessions. You will need to check with your insurance provider to determine if virtual behavioral health visits are covered by your plan as telehealth sessions are considered a different type of service than in-person sessions.

If you elect to engage in telehealth services rather than in-person sessions, you may be financially responsible for the sessions.

Is it easy to use?

Yes. You will receive a reminder for your appointment, just as you do for in-office appointments. In that reminder message is a unique link that you will tap on when it is time to attend your telehealth appointment. If you enter the appointment before your provider, you’ll wait in a virtual waiting room until they arrive. If your provider enters the appointment before you, they will wait in the virtual waiting room for you until you can connect.

Is this a secure, private way to have a session?

Although the use of any technology in health services comes with risks, CWW’s telehealth service exceeds HIPAA compliance requirements. There may be some risk of someone “listening” to your session wherever you are. That’s why it is important to ensure you have a quiet, private space.

What are the steps to get scheduled for a telehealth therapy session?

For both new and existing clients, contact CWW at (614) 383-8381 or email info@columbuswomenswellness.com to schedule an appointment.

For new clients, initial demographic and insurance information will be taken over the phone. Digitally sign any documents you receive to your email and read over the telehealth information paper prior to your appointment.
