Dr. Courtney Wineland is a licensed Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping, inspiring, and empowering adult women.  She specializes in young adult issues including life transitions and changes, depression, anxiety, relationship stress, trauma, as well as health related issues. She provides a comprehensive approach to all clinical issues through a collaborative and supportive process. She believes client’s are the expert in their lives and values each client’s perspective on their own difficulties. To support her clients experiencing depression, anxiety, effects from trauma, and life transition, Dr. Wineland integrates empirically-validated therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She utilizes mindfulness-based approaches to support clients with acceptance of emotional difficulties and active behavior change.

Dr. Wineland graduated with a Bachelor’s (BA) in Psychology and Sociology from Ohio University in Athens, OH, where she conducted research in the Women’s Sexual Assault Prevention lab. She completed both her Master’s degree (MA) and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Here, she conducted research with college students, exploring sexual health and alcohol use. She completed her internship and part of her fellowship at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Prior to joining CWW, she delivered services in  college counseling centers, community mental health, and private practice.
