Alexandra Didato is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) who is passionate about encouraging and supporting individuals find their voice and reclaim their power. Her work with women and teens helps them overcome the impact trauma or hardships may have had on their lives. With an understanding of the system in which her client, adult or teen, is functioning, Ms. Didato applies Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness training, motivational interviewing, and a strengths-based approach to empower women and teen girls to reach their therapeutic goals.

Ms. Didato earned her Bachelors Degree (BA) and Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Akron. Ms. Didato has extensive training and experience implementing trauma-informed care, identifying and challenging anxiety mindsets and cognitive distorted thinking patterns, and combating the cycle of depression. Ms. Didato is well-versed in addressing life adjustments and phases of life challenges for women across the lifespan. She enjoys supporting women from teen years through older adulthood overcome challenges and realize their empowered potential. Ms. Didato also works with individuals and couples to develop more effective communication strategies, assertiveness skills, and conflict resolution tools.
