Alison Sobowale, MSW, LISW-S is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Designation who provides psychotherapy to middle-aged and older adults. She is deeply committed to walking alongside her clients as they navigate life’s transitions, challenges, and moments of growth.

Alison integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Her work is grounded in a strengths-based, collaborative approach that honors each client’s lived experience. Alison believes meaningful change happens within a safe, supportive environment, and she strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood. Through warmth, empathy, and thoughtful guidance, she helps individuals build resilience, gain clarity, and move toward the life they want to live.

Alison earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Ohio University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Cincinnati. She joined the CWW provider group with over a decade of experience in direct patient care. Her background includes working in community mental health, the healthcare settings, with chronic illness, and providing psychotherapy to adults across the lifespan.
