Kelsey Snavely is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who believes the role of a clinician is to hold space with individuals as they heal and grow. Ms. Snavely recognizes that all people exist within a system which impacts their wellbeing. With this systemic view in mind, Ms. Snavely works in partnership with her clients supporting them as they achieve their goals. By utilizing Family Systems and Trauma-Focused therapeutic approaches, Ms. Snavely’s clients are able to reach their goals in an informed and intentional way. Ms. Snavely works with diverse presenting concerns including anxiety and mood, bipolar disorder, and complex trauma. Ms. Snavely also assists couples in communication strategies and conflict resolution skills.

Ms. Snavely earned her Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Psychology from Centre College in Kentucky and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Louisville where she completed her graduate work with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout her career, Ms. Snavely has worked extensively with teen girls and women in individual and family counseling. She has provided clinical services in a variety of settings including primary care, community mental health, private practice, and inpatient facilities. She has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Family Systems and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
